Dr. Lorenz Gräf

Dr. Lorenz Gräf, in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer, provides leadership for Globalpark AG and the Globalpark Group of Companies. He has been conducting research and working in the field of social sciences IT and online market research since 1988. He is the author of numerous books and specialist articles about online research. In 1997, Dr. Gräf organized the first GOR (German Online Research) conference in Cologne. In the “VIRTUS” (Virtual University Systems) project in the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Cologne, Dr Gräf was the manager of the evaluation team. From 1997 to 2004 he was a board member of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Online-Forschung e.V. (German Society for Online Research). In 1999, he founded Globalpark GmbH in conjunction with Prof. Dr. Batinic. The company was converted into a public limited company (AG) in 2008.

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Bernad Batinic

Bernad Batinic is professor for Learning And Working With New Media at the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) in Linz, Austria. In 1994, he conducted the first Internet survey in the German-speaking area and published the first manual on how to conduct online surveys. In 1999, he chaired the GOR (German Online Research) conference in Nuremberg. Batinic is founder and moderator of the largest German-language mailing list (GIR-L) on topics related to online research, in which more than 1,300 experts share their insights. Furthermore, he is the author of numerous books in the field of online research. Since 1998, he has been editor of the book series titled “Internet und Psychologie”, published by Hogrefe-Verlag.
